Sage Farms Hawaii is a certified organic, small family farm established in 1998
Owned by Dave and Kim Lambrecht, Sage Farms Hawaii has maintained the mission to improve the health and well being of the people of Hawaii and our community by providing farm-fresh, locally grown organic produce. Sage Farms Hawaii supplies the local restaurants with organically grown vegetables and our signature crop, white Hawaiian pineapples. You’ll find our white pineapples in products made around the island. Additional produce is sold at their Honor Stand on Hoea Road, as well as at other farmers’ market locations.
What is the difference between organic and certified organic?
Certified organic means that all the ingredients in a product have been grown or raised according to the USDA’s organic standards, which are the rules for producing food labeled organic. Certification requires yearly inspections, meticulous record keeping, growing and processing rules and many more to insure the safety and wholesomeness of our products.
